Hero has added to its feature-rich XTEC line-up with the launch of the Destini 125 XTEC. This version of the 125cc scooter is priced at Rs 79,990 (ex-showroom, Delhi), and gains an LED headlight and Bluetooth connectivity over its standard counterparts. Despite the addition of connectivity features, the scooter continues to use a semi-digital instrument cluster that looks very similar to the regular version and seems to be attractive.
Destini 125 XTEC- Features/ Add- On’s
While the standard Destini 125 gets LED position lamps and a halogen headlight, this XTEC variant gets LED technology for both. The design of the rear grab rail is also different on the XTEC, and it gets a pillion backrest as standard, which the lower variants miss out on.
Destini 125 XTEC- Braking
The Destini continues with drum brakes at both ends. There are no changes to the engine either, with the XTEC variant using the same 9.1hp, 10.4Nm, 124.6cc single-cylinder engine as the more affordable variants.
